Umpires 
Umpires are a key part of the baseball season. PRMBA has paid umpires who need to be certified through the BC Baseball Umpires Association.
We will hold Level 1 & Level 2 umpire clinics prior to the season *must be at least 14 years old by December 31/26
If you are only registering for Level 2, you need to take the Level 1 online prior to the clinic.
If you are interested in becoming an umpire and attending the clinics, please go to www.BCBUA.ca to register as a member and pay the membership fee. Our clinics are then free for BCBUA Members. Stay tuned for the announcement of our spring 2026 clinics.
As of 2024, BC Baseball Umpire Association requires all Officials 19 and older to have a criminal record check which is included with registration.
